Sexuality is a gift from God, to be used for His glory. Of all gifts, perhaps this one has been the most misused and perverted since the Fall into sin. This is apparent in the way that our Parliament and courts have dealt with sexuality as well. We have an obligation to show the world what a blessing sexuality can be when it is used in conformity with God’s intentions – lovingly between one man and one woman who are committed to each other for life in marriage.

Wells filed the complaint with the Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC) on June 26, accusing Levant of exposing homosexuals to hatred on the Internet after Levant republished a 2002 letter by Pastor Stephen Boissoin to the Red Deer Advocate. The letter was critical of homosexual activists promoting same-sex marriage and a homosexualist agenda in the public school system.

Will appeal decision.By Tim Waggoner [Lifesitenews.com] OTTAWA, June 9, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - On Friday, the Alberta Human Rights Commission ordered Alberta pastor Stephen Boissoin to desist from expressing his views on homosexuality in any sort of public forum. He was also commanded to pay damages equivalent to $7,000 as a result of the tribunal's November decision to side with complainant and homosexual activist Dr. Darren Lund. The tribunal has also called for Boissoin to personally apologize to Lund via a public statement in the local newspaper. The remedy order demands the pastor to pay $5,000 to Lund personally for the "time and energy" he has expended and for the "ridicule and harassment" he has faced. Combined with that financial burden, Boissoin must also pay up to $2,000 in expenses to one of Lund's witness, provided she produces records of such costs.

It’s socially beneficial to the degree it’s used according to the rules stipulated by God in His Word. Within marriage sex leads to the existence of a godly seed and the strengthening of the bond between the husband and wife. A new generation of children emerges supported by the adults who care for them and each other. This is the pattern of family life that leads to human flourishing and wellbeing.

I won’t get into the gross details (it would make your stomach turn) so suffice it to say that Mr. Sharpe produced pornographic writings which contained descriptions of sexual acts with boys and men. That his written material is considered by some members of society to be writings with “artistic merit” makes me wonder if our society is striving to be the next Sodom and Gomorrah.
